Jalapeno cheese cornbread

Ingredients :

  • 1.5 cups of cornmeal
  • half cup of flour
  • 1 tsp baking Powder
  • Half teaspoon of baking soda
  • 2 Large eggs
  • I cup of buttermilk
  • 1/3 cup of sour cream
  • Small onion diced
  • 3 jalapenos deseeded and diced
  • 2 cups of cheese

Directions :

  1. Half cup of butter melted in skillet.
  2. pour in other ingredients.
  3. Incorporate the butter just a little not completely.
  4. Bake 50 minutes at 400.
  5. I start checking at 40 minutes.
  6. Time will vary could bake as long as an hour.
  7. Beans are almost done.
