Ingredients :
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg – beaten slightly
- 6 ears of corn on the cob – left whole or cut in half horizontally
- ¾ gallon olive oil for frying
- combo of vegetable
- butter,paprika , parsley and parmesan
Directions :
- I seasoned my flour with salt and pepper.
- Corn on the cob, fresh, if frozen, thawed.
- I made an egg wash with milk, coated them, dropped the cobs in the flour, gave them a good shake.
- I used a combo of vegetable and olive oil to fry them, turning every 3 minutes until it starts crusting.
- Remove from oil.
- Melted butter with salt, pepper, smoked paprika and parsley, rolled the corn around in it.
- Sprinkled with fresh grated parmesan.
